un peu capoté…

my life in pictures

354/365 - December 19, 2012 - Candy Cane
Candy Cane. This was our Greek gingerbread village, minus one building. The students made templates, took them home, cut their gingerbread using the templates and baked them. Then they brought them to school. We built our structures one day and decorated the next. Doesn’t it look impressive? There are candy canes and candy cane type candies somewhere here, I know.

356/365 - December 21, 2012 - Peace
Peace. This is my classroom, after the gingerbread village was demolished and eaten, after the students tore open their gifts, and after they cleared out. Peace.

Tradition. See, I only switched it by one day! This is – hopefully – the start of a tradition. Hodge and SE had us over for a potluck meal and some ornament painting. I was very happy with mine. Jeff and the other boys decided to perv up their ornaments. They are not very family friendly.

I’ve decided to post pictures from December 24 and 25 next week, knowing that time will be scarce.
