Sick day. Friday is the ultimate dog to have when you’re not feeling well. I sleep, she sleeps. I wake up, she… keeps sleeping.

So, belatedly, I decided to try this photo challenge after my friend Steve posted his. I’ve missed two days, but I’m starting now. Here’s RED! It’s my snowman, a gift from a former student. Beside him is a pink flower – the first (and only so far) that’s bloomed from the Christmas cactus that I took home after our biome unit last year.

339/365 - December 4, 2012 - Joyous
Today’s theme? Joyous! I took several pictures of a student of mine who is always full of joy. She kept making silly faces and then bursting into laughter. It’s funny what students think. After I took the pictures, she wondered aloud, “I wonder if Madame is going to look back at our year and remember how weird we were.” Another student added, “Just watch. Madame will retire from teaching after this year.” I guess they don’t realize just how much fun it is to have students with so much personality and how much I enjoy their uniqueness!
