un peu capoté…

my life in pictures

As per the norm, Jeff and I came up with costume ideas the day of the annual McAllan Halloween bash. Eric, Diana and family always win the costume contest, so we thought that we would put in SOME effort. We decided to go as Little Red Riding Hood, the woodsman, the big bad wolf…

We didn’t win the costume contest, but we were pretty happy at the effort we (well… I) put in to the last minute attempt. I traced Friday’s jacket and cut out a dress from an old pillow case. She really didn’t seem to mind wearing the dress – or even the bonnet! – most of the time.

We also carved some pumpkins. I bet you’ll be surprised to note that the BOO…BS! pumpkin is Jeff’s and that the Friday dog face is mine. The inspiration came from a blog that features three Coton de Tulears, Kirby a Day.

One of the highlights of the McAllan Halloween bash is the fireworks. I managed to capture these shots with one hand, as the other hand was holding a slightly trembling Friday.
