Even though Chopper’s procedure was less invasive than the one Friday went through, Chopper seemed to have a tougher time at first. His cone seemed especially huge, and his confidence seemed shot for a while. He spent a lot of time in the first days back looking very “pathetical” and self-conscious.

But over time, he figured out how to move around without bashing his cone into every surface. He figured out how to sniff poles and lick the ground to pick up cookie crumbs. Once, by accident, he figured out how to take the darn thing off too. Hopefully, that isn’t repeated!
