un peu capoté…

my life in pictures

During the first week back to school, we have multi-aged classes. On the French side, we rotate subjects and teachers. This year, I got to do art. I got the idea to do kites from a buddy teacher last year. They’re relatively simple to make, and I only had to buy some twine and some skewers. We used crepe paper for the tail and regular printer paper for the body.

Today was my first group to make kites. It’s a bit of a crazy process, but worth it in the end. It was a lot of fun to watch the kids – even the cynical grade sevens – run around, trying to make their kite fly.
